Minnie Riperton（1947.11.8—1979.7.12），蜜妮·莱普顿是美国歌手，有“海豚女王”的美誉。

1947年11月8日，蜜妮莱普顿出生于芝加哥，自幼学习声乐、戏剧与舞蹈，后来甚至还一度几乎成为一个歌剧女演员。

Minnie Riperton（蜜妮莱普顿）只可惜，才刚刚开始成名，她就在1976年发现自己患了乳癌。1979年Minnie Riperton病逝于洛杉矶，享年方31岁。有着足足五个八度音阶的宽广音域，堪称有史以来天赋的女歌手之一，可惜在歌坛却只能昙花一现。《Loving you》成为她留给世人的绝响。
